This is the planning flow being built for Vidii. It is a preview, not a feature available today.

Choose what should happen
Management will choose upcoming activities to prepare. Work that repeats will continue through Routine Scheduler.

Find the right starting plan
Vidii will look for a suitable Plans Library plan or a version the school approved before. AI will help only where new content is needed.

Work out when preparation should begin
Vidii will keep the activity date separate from the earlier dates needed for preparation.

Match work with current school responsibilities
The draft will match responsibilities with current school roles. Unresolved work will wait for a decision, not default to the Principal.

Apply approved Vidii DNA
Saved school choices will help prefill the draft. They will not change permissions, active work or who is responsible without review.

Prepare notices and Calendar entries
Staff tasks will hold preparation. The Calendar will show the activity. School and parent notices will be prepared for review.

Review the full effect
Management will see tasks, dates, people, messages and unresolved decisions before approving the work.

Activate only ready work
Ready activities will be available for approval. Incomplete activities will remain in draft until the missing decision is made.

Staff receives normal Vidii tasks
Teachers and staff will continue using their usual task views, with instructions, checklists and due dates.

Keep connected work updated
After an approved change, Vidii will update the affected unfinished work. Completed work and previous records will stay unchanged.

Approved choices will be available to reuse. Management will be able to review, change, pause or forget them.
Each person sees the work meant for them.
Current role-based access stays in place. The planned management view will not give everyone access to the whole programme.

Can a school keep its own process?
Yes. Custom Routines support current work that repeats. Custom Plans support current work with a clear end.
Is Plan Ahead the same as Routine Scheduler?
No. Routine Scheduler handles school work that repeats today. Plan Ahead is being designed to prepare upcoming activities with their tasks, dates and communication.
What does Vidii DNA remember?
Vidii DNA is being designed to remember approved choices about how your branch plans activities, assigns responsibilities and sends updates.
Does Vidii change assignments automatically?
No. Saved choices will be able to prefill a draft or suggest an assignment. Management will review it before the work becomes active.
Will teachers use a new planning screen?
No new planning screen is intended for staff. Management will plan ahead; teachers and staff will continue receiving their own tasks in the normal Vidii view.
Does AI publish notices automatically?
No. Generated or edited communication will need review and approval before it becomes active. A draft will not send a parent notice on its own.
Does every person see everything?
No. Access is based on each person’s role. Parents receive only what the school chooses to share with them.
